I am Library and Information Science (LIS) practitioner-researcher with experience inĀ  the library sector in Australia and Indonesia including support for learning, teaching, and research in the medical and academic library. Currently, I work as Librarian at University of Queensland with the Research Outputs and Impact team.

I have PhD in Information Systems (focusing in Library and Information Science) from Queensland University of Technology. My PhD focused on understanding Library and Information Science professionals’ experience of social media. Using Constructivist Grounded Theory method, I constructed the first theory titled The Theory of Networked Library and Information Science Professionals which consists of 13 categories that represent LIS professionals’ experience of social media in and out of their professional life. I also hold Masters of Information Technology (Advanced) (Library and Information Science) from Queensland University of Technology and Bachelor of Humanities (Library and Information Science) from University of Indonesia.
